Our Foundation consists of committed individuals who have a passion for Catholic Education and want the best for every student within our public school system.  While our dedicated administration stretches every education dollar available, there are times when additional funds are needed to enhance, establish, create, or develop different aspects that contribute to the Catholic education of our elementary, junior and senior high school students.  This is where our foundation comes in.  We are committed to raising additional financial resources needed within our community, additional funds to support school programs, enhancing our Catholic identity within our communities.

Our goal as a foundation is to preserve, to protect and to strengthen Catholic education. Our role is to secure and provide financial assistance where we can when needed to help remove challenges students face that may prevent them from having and achieving the best educational experience possible.  We call this our “Community of Service”.

Vision
A faith-filled community inspired by Catholic education in the City of Edmonton.

Mission
Is to raise public awareness concerning the benefits of and to enhance the funding for Catholic Education in the City of Edmonton.

Goals                     
1) Enhanced Catholic Identity:

Support expenditures identified by Edmonton Catholic Schools that help to sustain and support the Catholic message in ways that resonate with students, educators, parents, the church, and the community.

2) Community of Service:

Fund requests made by principals on behalf of children and/or families who “fall between the cracks”.

3) Communications:

Foster relationships between the Foundation and its publics—on and offline—by serving as a bridge for advocacy on behalf of Catholic education and for transparent stewardship.
The Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation would like to acknowledge the invaluable commitment and dedication of our partner, the Edmonton Catholic Schools District. In November 2012, the School Board of Trustees unanimously passed a motion to create and support the Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation.
